Tips for combining many photos into one frame

Walk into any college dorm room or apartment, and you’ll find the area most likely is filled with photographs.

Not only are these decorations easy to print off, but they also are fun to look at and can bring back memories.

But displaying multiple pictures can be troublesome and costly. Plain picture frames are boring and don’t add much character to a room, and decorative ones can get too expensive.

Try crafting your own frame that holds several pictures to display your favorite photos using inexpensive and easy-to-find objects.

Materials:
A picture frame or pieces of wood
Twine or another rope-like material to hang your photographs from
Clothespins
Decorative add-ons

Directions:
1. Select a frame to hold your photos. I chose a black frame from Hobby Lobby, 2775 E. Grand River Ave. You also can beautify your frame by painting it.
2. Take one end of your rope and tape it to one side of the frame’s back. Stretch it across the frame and tape the other end of the rope to the opposite side of the frame. Do this as many times as you want, depending on how many rows you desire.
3. Using your clothespins, hang your photographs on the rope. You can keep your clothespins the way they are, or do as I did and spray paint them a different color. The number of photos you have in each row will vary based on the width of your frame and how spaced out you’d like your pictures to be.
4. At this point your frame should be complete and ready to hang up. But don’t be afraid to add even more decorations, such as stickers or ribbons, to your frame if you want.
